Redemption in Pixel Lineage is quick, but it has two gates that catch people: the code only works for accounts in the official community, and it only works once per account. Both look like “the code is broken” from the player’s side. Here is the whole flow, what the different codes are actually worth, and the failure checks in the order that rules problems out fastest.
The three steps
- Join the official Pixel Lineage community on Roblox, using the same account you play on. This is the gate most claims fail on: the game checks membership, so a second account or a group you joined after launching the game will not pass until the game re-checks it.
- Open the Goblin Merchant in the castle and select REDEEM CODES.
- Paste the code exactly as listed and submit once. Reports differ on whether codes are case-sensitive, so pasting rather than retyping removes both the case question and the stray-space problem in one move.
What the codes are actually worth
Not every code is equally useful, and knowing the categories tells you what to claim first when you only have a minute:
| Reward | Why it matters | Claim urgency |
|---|---|---|
| Gold | The general currency, spent on honing, spins and castle services | Low — it keeps |
| Race / talent spins | Re-roll passives that stay with your hero for a whole run | High — early use compounds |
| Knowledge | Progression resource for permanent unlocks between runs | Medium |
| Potions | Consumables carried into a run | Medium |
| Event currency (e.g. Candy) | Only spendable during the event | Highest — the only hard deadline |
If you are picking one code to redeem before you play, pick a spin code. Gold is easy to spend without thinking; a spin changes what the rest of the run looks like.
Why a claim gets rejected
Work through these in order — the first three cover almost every failure:
| Check | What it rules out |
|---|---|
| Account is in the official community | Membership gate |
| Code has no leading or trailing space | Entry mistakes |
| Code has not been claimed on this account | Already-used rewards |
| The code’s expiry date has passed | Dead code |
The last one is why this site keeps expired codes visible with a date instead of deleting them: a code that worked last week can stop working today, and a list that only shows “active” codes gives you no way to tell a dead code from an entry mistake. Both produce the same refusal message, and both waste the same amount of your time.
One code, one account
Codes are claimable once per account, not once per hero. Making a new hero does not reset it, so there is no point saving a code “for the next character”. Claim it when you get it and spend it on whatever the current hero needs.
This also means a second Roblox account is a separate claim, not a workaround. If redemption is failing on an alt account, membership of the official community is the usual reason, because that account has to join too.
Where new codes come from
Codes in a game this young appear in a fairly predictable order, which is worth knowing so you are not refreshing random pages:
- The game’s own Roblox description. Developers often paste a code into the description during an event before anywhere else carries it.
- The official community hub. Event announcement posts are the single most reliable code moment.
- Public community trackers. Where codes announced in chat or on a stream get collected — which is why some entries on our code list credit a tracker rather than the developer.
Codes tied to an event are the ones with real deadlines. When an event ends, the code that grants its currency stops being useful in a way a gold code never quite does, so redeem event codes the day you find them.
What to do with the rewards
Race and talent spins are worth using soon after you claim them, since they change the passives your build can lean on. Gold is easy to burn on gear honing — if you are planning a big purchase, the gold budget calculator on this site splits your gold into affordable attempts and whatever you want to keep in reserve, and the classes overview explains how a class pick interacts with those passives. If you have not started playing yet, read the beginner guide first.
Common mistakes worth avoiding
- Retyping a code instead of pasting it. This is the single most common self-inflicted failure.
- Assuming a code is dead before checking membership. The code is usually alive; the account is usually the problem.
- Saving a code for a later hero. Codes do not reset per hero, so saving one gains you nothing.
- Ignoring event codes until the event is over. Event currency does not survive the event.
